Connect a sensor to CMC
Connect one or more sensors to a Central Management Console (CMC).
Procedure
- Open the Central Management Console (CMC).
 - 
                In the top navigation bar, select A menu shows.
 - 
                In the Settings section, select Synchronization
                        settings.
                The Synchronization settings page opens.
 - In the top left Sync token section, select Copy.
 - Open the sensor that you want to connect to the CMC.
 - 
                In the top navigation bar, select A menu shows.
 - 
                In the Settings section, select Synchronization
                        settings.
                The Synchronization settings page opens.
 - Go to the Upstream Connection section, in the Sync token field, paste the sync token that you copied from the CMC.
 - In the Host field, paste the internet protocol (IP) of the CMC. The hypertext transfer protocol secure (HTTPS) protocol will be used.
 - Optional: If no certificate authority (CA)-emitted certificates are used, you can select Optional to make the verification of certificates optional.
 - 
                To make sure that the connection has worked correctly, select Check
                        connection.
                If the connection is working, green text that states Connection is working shows.
 - Select Save.
 - Go back to the CMC.
 - 
                In the top navigation bar, select Sensors.
                The Sensors page opens.
 - 
                In the list, make sure that the sensor you just connected shows.
                Note:When a sensor is connected for the first time, it will notify its status and receive firmware updates. However, it will not be permitted to perform additional actions. To enable a complete integration of the sensor you will need to allow the sensor.
