Disabled

When this checkbox is selected, the data diode functionality is disabled.

Producer

When this checkbox is enabled, it allows the Central Management Console (CMC) to send data out to the data diode and the upstream CMC.

When Producer is enabled, the fields below show.

  • Protocol (communication protocol to be used)
  • Token (of the upstream CMC)
  • Host (address of the data diode)
  • Username (for the data diode)
  • Password (for the data diode)
  • Directory (the location on the data diode to store the data)

This enables one-way data transfer to the data-diode and the upstream CMC system.

Consumer

Consumer settings

When you select the Consumer checkbox, the Token field shows. This lets you copy the token to be used in the Producer settings of the downstream Guardian(s).
