Arc v2.7.0
The release notes for Arc v2.7.0.
New features
A list of new features that have been introduced in this release.
- ENG-1187: Compatibility notice: Arc v2.6.0 introduced a compatibility safeguard for environments still connected to Guardian v25.1.0 and earlier. Similarly, if Arc v2.7.0 is connected to Guardian v25.1.0 and earlier, Arc will continue to run, but it will no longer update to newer Arc versions. This change is intended to give customers time to upgrade Guardian before the end of the compatibility grace period. Starting with Arc v2.9.0, Arc will no longer connect to Guardian v25.1.0 and earlier. Action required: Upgrade Guardian to v25.2.0 or later before moving to Arc v2.9.0 (expected July 2026).
- ENG-1275: Implemented encryption for custom YARA contents to prevent interference from antivirus software.
- ENG-1328: The secure shell (SSH) strategy is now available in Arc. As a new feature that will also be part of Nozomi Networks Operating System (N2OS) v26.3.0, it can now optionally verify the host key.
- ENG-1503: Improved enrichment of ABB devices polled with the Modbus strategy.
- ENG-1505: The BACnet Smart Polling strategy has a new configuration option to disable the crawling to nested devices. The setting can be configured on N2OS v26.4.0 and later.
- ENG-1504: Improved firmware version parsing in BACnet strategy.
- ENG-1552: Addressed a potential memory consumption problem in Smart Polling hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) / hypertext transfer protocol secure (HTTPS) strategies.
- SP-490: Introduced the Reolink Baichuan Smart Polling and Discovery strategies.
