A list of the improvements for the operating system and GUI usability changes that have been introduced in this release.
- Confidential data in support archives is now always encrypted.
- Starting with this version, Nozomi Networks sensors will refuse a
manual installation of a new version if the upgrade path presented in the release notes is
not followed. Additionally, if this is the case, the sensor will not install subsequent
versions. In such a situation, connect to the sensor via secure shell (SSH)
and verify that the
/data/upgrade-failed
file indicates only an installation path violation. If that is the case, remove the file and proceed with the version upgrade. Follow the mandatory installation path. - The SFP ports of the NS1R physical sensor now support traffic monitoring at 100 Mbps using HWA-TRS-T-P 100/1000 BaseT transceivers.
