      Once you have created a Smart Polling plan, you can add arbitrary nodes to the target from the Network page. The Smart Polling plan will poll these nodes even if the plan's query does not return them.

Add a network node to a Smart Polling plan

After you have created a plan, you can add a node, or multiple nodes, to it.

Procedure

In the top navigation bar, select Smart Polling.
The Smart Polling page opens.
In the top right, select Plans.
The Plans page opens.
To the left of the name of the applicable plan, select the icon.
The details for the plan show.
Select Add nodes to plan.
A dialog shows.
In the dialog, enter an internet protocol (IP) address. If you want to add more than one IP address, enter each one on a new line.
Select Add.

Results

The node(s) has (have) been added to the Smart Polling plan.
