CMC, Remote Collector, and AAA
A list of the improvements for the CMC, Remote Collector and Authentication, Authorization and Accounting that have been introduced in this release.
- ENG-1431: Extended the capabilities of a user belonging to a group with report
permission. The user can now retrieve reports if:
- The reports are generated by users belonging to the same group.
- The reports are generated with group visibility set to the group the user belongs to.
- The reports are generated by the user themselves.
- N2OS-17503: All sensor types now follow a unified onboarding model during
synchronization. Previously, different sensor types had inconsistent default
behaviors—some sensors (such as Arc and Remote Collector) started in the
allowed state by default, while others (such as Nozomi Networks Operating System (N2OS)) started in the disallowed state.
With this release, all sensors now start in the disallowed state by default, ensuring consistent behavior across all sensor types.
New configuration option
To provide flexibility for different deployment scenarios, a new configuration option is available in the N2OS configuration file. This option allows you to customize the default onboarding behavior on a per-sensor-type basis.
Configuration syntax:
allow_on_first_notify <appliance_type> true
