Hardware setup for Schneider Electric SCADAPack 47xi RTU

The recommended physical setup for the Schneider Electric SCADAPack 47xi remote terminal unit (RTU).

The SCADAPack edge module has two network interfaces. Arc uses one of these to connect to the upstream sensor. It is recommended to use the second network interface to monitor and have it connected to a switch SPAN port to get all the data from the remote terminal unit (RTU) module.

This setup works best when Smart Polling is enabled. The port used to connect to the upstream is then also used as a Smart Polling interface.
