Arc Embedded detection information

Each Arc Embedded implementation inherits all the detected information from its architecture as shown in Detection information, and then adds vendor specific detections.

Table 1. Mitsubishi Electric
Operating System Linux
Architecture Arm
Prerequisites Supported intelligent function module installed, with the correct Linux image. The default installed operating system (OS) is Gx Works.
Supported deployment modes Deploy Arc automatically from Guardian
Deploy Arc manually without a local UI
Supported execution modes Service mode
Supported by

MELSEC iQ-R series with RD55UP12-V intelligent function module.

Additional information Nodes aggregation, Hardware components / backplane information, local state (LED panel information, through alert type ID SIGN:DEV-STATE-CHANGE, SIGN:OT_DEVICE-START, SIGN:OT_DEVICE-STOP), disconnection of Ethernet cable (through SIGN:DEV-STATE-CHANGE), disconnection of module (through SIGN:DEV-STATE-CHANGE), program transfer (through SIGN:PROGRAM-TRANSFER), program change (through SIGN:PROGRAM-CHANGE).
Recommended configuration The RD55UP12-V module has two network interfaces. Arc uses one of these to connect to the upstream. It is recommended to use the second network interface to monitor and have it connected to a switch SPAN port to get all the data from the central processing unit (CPU) module.

Use in combination with Smart Polling's MELSOFT strategy for maximum visibility.
