Discovery and Smart Polling conditions

The minimum conditions required to run Discovery and Smart Polling on Arc depend on the Arc deployment mode.

Arc offline mode

When Arc runs in Offline mode (disconnected from an upstream sensor), you configure Discovery and Smart Polling from the Arc local configuration UI.

Arc connected mode (Service and One-shot)

When Arc is connected to an upstream sensor (Service or One-shot mode), you configure Discovery and Smart Polling from the upstream installation.
