Resolved issues

A list of the bugs and defects that have been addressed in this release.

  • ENG-2409: Addressed an issue that caused a wrong list of recent alerts to be displayed in reports.
  • ENG-2509: Fixed a race condition that caused distinct assets to be assigned the same device identifier (ID), even though they should have been merged into a single asset.
  • ENG-2887: Added Ruby command-line interface (CLI) support for configuring and persisting protocol-specific Device ID notification settings through conf.user configure probe protocol protocol notify_device_id true|false.
  • ENG-2891: Smart Polling: Improved robustness of Schneider hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) strategy.
  • ENG-3049: Fixed a deadlock condition in the database cli_action_requests table that could lead to CLI action propagation failures and excessive error log generation.
  • ENG-3054: Spurious audit log on nginx_access_log.conf no longer generated.
  • ENG-3060: Smart Polling: the default log level is INFO. We addressed an issue that cause the default log level to be DEBUG under some circumstances.
  • ENG-3150: Smart Polling: the Windows Remote Management (WinRM) strategy has been enhanced to fix a regression with respect to the legacy strategy and to improve the error reporting in case of failure.
  • ENG-3156: Non-admin users now see configured Guardian interface labels in Capture Device field.
  • ENG-3352: Smart Polling: addressed an issue where Smart Polling would keep re-running a plan's queries even if the queries fail, and where plans with legitimately no targets to poll were retried indefinitely instead of being marked complete.
  • ENG-3376: Improved resiliency of backup process.
  • ENG-3407: Fixed an issue preventing the sync process to complete successfully.
  • ENG-3730: Addressed an issue that prevented to acknowledge alerts by table filter.
