CMC, Remote Collector, and AAA

A list of the improvements for the CMC, Remote Collector and Authentication, Authorization and Accounting that have been introduced in this release.

  • N2OS-12151: It is possible to propagate the security assertion markup language (SAML) federated metadata xml content to directly connected appliances on demand.
  • ENG-2596: Users can configure the number of milestones (upgrade bundles) a sensor can keep stored.
  • ENG-2882: Improved user management to ensure secure shell (SSH) access is revoked immediately when a local user is deleted.
  • ENG-3019: Operators can now Focus On directly from the top-level Central Management Console (CMC), without needing to access individual regional CMCs.
  • ENG-3020: The CMC now tracks and syncs each sensor's installed Threat Intelligence (TI) and Asset Intelligence (AI) content version and update status upstream, laying the groundwork for future fleet-wide content visibility.
  • ENG-3080: The sensor list page search now matches across the full sensor hierarchy and includes TI version, AI version, Base operating system (OS) version, and AI/TI update status in addition to sensor name.
  • ENG-3081: The sensor list page now displays TI version, AI version, and AI/TI update status columns for each sensor.
  • ENG-3093: Administrators can now configure fleet-wide limits on concurrent AI/TI content downloads and cap download speed per sensor, with the option to override settings individually or in bulk from the sensors page. In addition, administrators can disable the download of contents for a specific sensor or for an entire portion of the architecture.
