This section provides troubleshooting tips for secure sockets layer (SSL) verification issues in Splunk add-ons. It covers an alternate add-on version that bypasses SSL verification for users with untrusted certificates, available through support but not verified by Splunk.

If you encounter secure sockets layer (SSL) verification issues, there is a version of the Splunk Universal Add-on that allows skipping SSL verification. However, note that Splunk has not verified this version, and it is not available through the Splunk store. It is useful for customers with Central Management Console (CMC) or Guardian having untrusted certificates, ask support for it.
