Do a data factory reset with sanitization

You can use the U.S. DoD 5220-22M 7- pass scheme to completely erase the N2OS data partition and sanitize the disk space.

This process erases the N2OS data partition in accordance with the guidelines suggested in the NIST Special Publication 800-88 rev 1. Configurations such as network and console password settings are retained.
Important: This procedure will cause the system to lose all its data. It will also reset enabled secure shell (SSH) public keys. Before you do this procedure, make sure that you have an admin password.
  1. Open a shell console.
  2. Enter the command:
    n2os-datasanitize -y
The services are restarted with a fresh data partition.
  3. If necessary, Do the web console configuration.
