Overview

The Overview tab provides a high-level summary of your sensors, including their status, appliance types and models, resource usage, intelligence content update status, and geographic distribution.

Sensors Overview tab

The Overview tab displays widgets that summarize the current state of your sensors. Use the Scope filter at the top of the page to limit the data shown to a specific site or network domain.

Sensors

This shows a count of all sensors in your system, broken down by status:

  • Active: sensors that are connected and sending data.
  • Stale: sensors that have not synced recently.

It also shows the throughput range across all active sensors, expressed as minimum, average, and maximum values in Mbps.

Status distribution

This shows a donut chart of sensors grouped by their current status: active, stale, and provisioning. Each segment is labeled with its percentage of the total.

Appliance type

This shows a donut chart of sensors grouped by appliance type, for example Guardian, Central Management Console (CMC), Arc, Guardian Air, and Trace. Each segment is labeled with its percentage of the total.

Appliance model

This shows a table listing each appliance model alongside the number of sensors using that model and its percentage of the total. A bar indicator provides a visual representation of relative size.

Asset Intelligence latest content update

This shows the date of the most recent Asset Intelligence content update for each sensor host. A color-coded bar indicates how current the update is:

  • Green: updated less than 5 days ago.
  • Orange: updated 5–15 days ago.
  • Red: updated more than 15 days ago.

Threat Intelligence latest content update

This shows the date of the most recent Threat Intelligence content update for each sensor host. The same color-coding applies as for the Asset Intelligence widget:

  • Green: updated less than 5 days ago.
  • Orange: updated 5–15 days ago.
  • Red: updated more than 15 days ago.

Sensors with warnings

This shows a list of sensors that are currently in a warning state. If no sensors have warnings, the widget displays a message confirming that no sensors are in warning status.

Countries distribution

This shows a donut chart of sensors grouped by the country where they are located. Each segment is labeled with its percentage of the total.

Disk usage

This shows a table listing each sensor host with its current disk usage as a used/total value and a percentage. Hosts are sorted by percentage in descending order.

Memory usage

This shows a table listing each sensor host with its current memory usage as a used/total value and a percentage.

CPU usage

This shows a table listing each sensor host and its current central processing unit (CPU) usage as a percentage.

Software version

This shows a table listing the Nozomi Networks Operating System (N2OS) software versions in use across your sensors, alongside the number of sensors running each version and its percentage of the total. A bar indicator provides a visual representation of relative size.
