Arc dependencies tab

The Arc dependencies tab shows the dependencies required by the related sensor, and lets you install, uninstall, update, enable, and disable them.

The Arc dependencies tab is only shown for Arc sensors running Arc v2.8.0 or later that are connected directly to Vantage, or connected through a Guardian running Nozomi Networks Operating System (N2OS) v26.5 or later.

The tab shows a table of the dependencies that are available for the sensor, with these columns:

  • Name: The dependency's name, with a short description of why it's needed underneath. Some dependencies also show an information icon with more details, an external link to more information, or both
  • Installed and Available: Each dependency is one of these types:
    • Software dependencies show the installed version (or Not installed) in the Installed column, and the available version in the Available column.
    • Setting dependencies show Enabled or Not enabled in the Installed column. The Available column doesn't apply.
Note:
If a dependency shows a Reboot required tag, its actions aren't available until the sensor is rebooted.
Note:
For sensors running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, install the Sysmon Legacy dependency instead of Sysmon. Its bundle must first be uploaded from the organization's Arc dependencies page, using version 13.34 and a ZIP archive containing Sysmon.exe and Sysmon64.exe.
