Risk
The base risk for this alert is 3.
Cause
The device failed to connect to the Wi-Fi network. This is most often due to an incorrect or outdated password, but can also result from a mismatch in security or authentication mode (such as WPA2, WPA3, or 802.1X), rejection by RADIUS or MAC filtering, or—less commonly—radio frequency (RF) instability.
Solution
Check the Wi-Fi password, security mode, and authentication settings on both the device and access point. Review logs for authentication errors or filtering issues. If the problem persists, analyze the connection process in detail.
