Protocols, Smart Polling, and Arc

A list of the improvements for Protocols, Smart Polling and Arc that have been introduced in this release.

  • Users can now choose between 1 byte - 2 bytes and 1 byte - 1 byte - 1 byte formats to display information object addresses (IOA) for IEC101/IEC104 protocols.
  • For IEC 60870-5-101 (iec101) traffic, support has been added for asset information extraction from user datagram protocol (UDP)-encapsulated packets and improved fixed-length frame handling.
  • Added support for extracting serial numbers from hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) traffic from Axis cameras.
  • Guardians now generate malware alerts for malicious files that Arc has identified using Structured Threat Information Expression (STIX) rules.
  • Improved product security posture.
  • Discovery: Added new server message block (SMB) strategy for discovering Windows devices
  • Smart Polling: Added new Smart Polling strategies for Moxa HTTP targeting NAT-102 (router, authenticated), NPort (serial gateway, unauthenticated), and MGate (serial gateway, unauthenticated) devices
  • Improved data extraction from nested devices in the BACnet strategy.
