Route configuration

An overview of static route configuration on the sensor.

Static routes direct network traffic to a specific destination through a defined gateway. On Guardian, static routes are configured using n2os-netconf routes commands from the text console. Routes are stored in the system configuration and applied automatically at boot.

You can configure two types of static routes:

• Network routes: Routes to a destination network, specified in CIDR notation
• Host routes: Routes to a single destination host address

Each route is identified by a name, which you use to update or delete it.
