Updates and licenses

The Updates and licenses page lets you view and manage the licenses installed on this Guardian.

For more details about the license types shown on this page, see License types.

Filtering licenses

Select a filter to show only the licenses in that License status: All, Active, Expired, Suspended, Unlicensed, or Managed by upstream. Each filter shows a count of the licenses in that status.

Node quotas

Each license shows the number of nodes it currently covers against the maximum allowed by that license, for example Nodes 22 / 9,999. If a license is issued with node limits and those limits are exceeded, functionality is only enabled for the nodes within the covered limit; new nodes are not analyzed.

Update service

This section only shows on a Guardian that is not connected to a Central Management Console (CMC). It controls how Threat Intelligence and Asset Intelligence content updates are delivered to this Guardian. If the Guardian has no network connection to the Nozomi Networks update service, a banner shows at the top of the page: Update service connection issue.

Select Update service configuration to open a panel where you can:

  • Enable or disable an automatic network connection to the Nozomi Networks update service, including proxy settings, and check whether that connection is working.
  • Force an immediate content update over that connection.
  • Switch to manual mode to upload a content update package directly instead of connecting to the update service.
