EAPOL

Extensible Authentication Protocol over LAN (EAPOL) is a network authentication protocol used in IEEE 802.1X implementations. In Wi-Fi networks, EAPOL frames carry the authentication handshake between a client device and an access point during the WPA and WPA2 connection process.
