Reports and integrations

A list of improvements for the queries, assertions and reports, and new developments for data and firewall integrations that have been introduced in this release.

The DNS Reverse Lookup integration is now available only in Data Integration. Existing DNS Reverse Lookup Smart Polling plans are migrated to Data Integration.
The ServiceNow outbound data integration has been deprecated. To send assets and incidents to ServiceNow, we recommend using the Service Graph Connector for Nozomi Networks, available on the ServiceNow store. Additionally, all active Smart Polling ServiceNow plans have been migrated to the data integration section, which can enrich local nodes with information retrieved from ServiceNow.
During the upgrade, all existing Cisco ISE data integration configurations with the enable asset flag set to false (inactive) and inactive Smart polling plans are removed. The integration offers two mutually exclusive options, selectable via a radio button: either
- Send information to Cisco ISE
- Enrich existing Nozomi Networks Operating System (N2OS) assets with data from Cisco ISE
It's important to avoid setting up both configurations simultaneously:
- Send assets
- Enrich assets
This is because there is no built-in mechanism to reconcile data between these two actions, doing so could result in an infinite asset update loop, leading to data inconsistencies and system inefficiencies.
